Rural school divisions in western Manitoba will receive provincial funding increases for the 2026-27 school year ranging from below one per cent to almost three per cent:
• Beautiful Plains School Division will receive a 1.9 per cent increase for a total of $18.39 million.
• Fort La Bosse School Division’s funding will increase by 1.5 per cent for a total of $10.6 million.
• Mountain View School Division in Dauphin will increase by 0.7 per cent to $28.3 million.
• Park West School’s provincial support will rise by one per cent for a total of $14.3 million.
• Prairie Rose School Division’s funding will rise by 1.9 per cent for a provincial allotment of $17.6 million.
• Rolling River School Division will see an increase of 1.2 per cent to $12.9 million.
• Southwest Horizon School Division will have an increase of 2.7 per cent to $11.4 million.
• Turtle Mountain School Division’s funding will rise by 2.3 per cent for a total provincial allotment of $7.1 million.
